I was experimenting last night
for a dinner party we're going to have for this couple we met at the Mendocino
Wine Auction. I decided to try a Coq au Vin recipe from the Dean and Deluca
cookbook. So last night I practiced making that. It was fantastic, but there
wasn't enough sauce...maybe I reduced it too much. I don't think I'm going
to make it for the party though. It was too much work. For over two hours
I was standing and chopping and fixing...that was before it got in the oven!
I was exhausted. So I'm going to try something else. I don't know. It was
really good.... |
